C. Michael Curtis, Fiction Editor Talks Short Stories

A sad day for fiction was when The Atlantic stopped publishing a short story in each issue.  Supposedly, they publish a summer fiction issue, though I’ve never actually seen one on the magazine rack.

The magazine has published the best short story writers of our generation, and at the editing helm , discovering those writers and guiding their stories, was C. Michael Curtis.

In this informative interview, Curtis talks about, among other things, what makes a good short story.
