Barry Michels, Jung, Creativity, and the Shadow Self

In this New Yorker article, Dana Goodyear explores the work of therapist Barry Michels, one of Hollywood’s little “open secrets.”  Michels, along with his mentor, psychiatrist Phil Stutz, has developed a program to help artists to tap into their creative selves and unlock their unconscious, addressing such problems as writer’s block and other insecurities.  It’s an interesting read you’ll find here.
