Wrecked Novels: When Famous Writers Gave Up

Ever tried to write a novel?  Ever started a novel and then given up?  In The New York Times Book Review, Dan Kois shows those of us who have that we are in good company.  In his article “Why Do Writers Abandon Novels?“, Kois explores why writers such as John Updike, Harper Lee, and Michael Chabon gave up on the novels they were trying to  write.
